Mayor and Patron Message
Message from the Mayor

Each year reflect on the efforts of the early settlers in this area, and how this event celebrates the legacy that they have left us. A much clearer story of their travails and triumphs is now emerging as a result of the very detailed research that was undertaken for a new history of our district.
Inhabitants of our district (Aboriginal and white alike) have until very recent times won their living from the land, and they have therefore valued and nurtured it. The Kelmscott Annual Show has existed for more than a hundred years, showcasing the best that our district can provide.
As this is the last time that I will pen this message, I want to conclude by acknowledging the very hard work, year after year, of the hard working committee who toil so cheerfully. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and our district is the richer for those efforts. Thank you.

Message from the Patron
It is with great pleasure and pride that I pen these few words as Patron of the Kelmscott Agricultural Society.
Having lived nearly all my life in the local area, I am acutely aware of the significance the Kelmscott Agricultural Show has for the local community.
The show provides an opportunity for local business, clubs and individuals to showcase their skills. It gives children and families a chance to learn about rural life in a fun, educational and interactive environment.
I hope you enjoy all that the show offers!
