Kids DIY Decorating Pink Cupcakes
This year on Monday the 24th of October is Pink Ribbon Day. This cause is held annually by the Cancer Council Western Australia to spread awareness and raise necessary funds to support of those affected by breast cancer including research, prevention and support services. Breast cancer is one of the fastest growing cancers in Australia with over 13,000 affected women every year, impacting the lives of thousands of more families and friends alike.
In recognition of this cause, the Kelmscott Agricultural Society (Inc.) will be proudly holding its first pink cupcake decorating event during the show and we will be encouraging children to decorate their very own cupcakes. Entry is by gold-coin donation and all funds raised will be donated to the Cancer Council WA. The Society will be donating a large number of premade cupcakes (each lovingly baked by our very own team of dedicated volunteers) and all essential decorating supplies will be provided. Best of all, the kids can eat their delicious result!
